Holy death

She had been preparing for death for a long time. Towards the end of November 1910, she had asked and obtained to make the spiritual retreat during which she made her general confession in preparation for death. Arriving at her bedside, I told her: "All the sisters are praying for you and hope that you will recover.” She answered with holy joy in her eyes, "Let us leave it to the Lord.” She did not want the sisters to show sadness; they only had to pray for God's will to be done. She was also always in prayer and associated her head pains to those of Jesus crowned with thorns. When asked how she was, she always looked up without complaining about her pains and raised her hand to offer everything to Jesus.
