Satisfied and happy

On December 8, 1893, the day of my investiture, I and two other novices in the evening, due to the scarcity of food, remained without food. The Servant of God who had already gone to her room because of her poor health, knowing this, came out of the room with her portion of rice and distributed to us three a spoonful each and did so with such sweetness and spiritual words that we were happy and satiated.
