Old clothes, special graces

She preferred the old clothes for herself and told us "that the old clothes are joined by special graces." Never did I notice that she lacked the greatest reserve required by modesty. She was very humble: I remember that on feast days she herself served the Sisters at the table, on other days from time to time she helped in the kitchen preparing food. Never did I hear a complaint from her lips.
