Evangelical Compassion
Once when she saw that I was a little agitated and wanted to cry. She came to me affectionately and comforted me in her special way: she told me that I did not lack good will, but I had to be more courageous and have more faith in God. She urged me to always obey, to be humbly silent for the love of God, to mortify myself and be steady so that the sisters would not notice what I was suffering. In doing so I would make the Lord happy and acquire many merits.
