Burn luxury and disobedience

She did not want gifts. If the sisters were given gifts of any value, she would give them to the poor or destroy them. Once a sister received as a gift a pair of luxurious gloves, without asking permission. Informed about it, the Servant of God, burned them. This is what the sister herself wrote.
