The service apron

On the days of investitures and professions, Mother Frances wore the white apron and served us at the table. When we saw this for the first time, we were deeply moved and overwhelmed by her humility. By so doing she imitated our Divine Savior, who had also served His Apostles. Usually when the sisters went out on pilgrimages to Rome, Mother Frances reminded them over and over again to pray for the sisters in America.
