December 19, 2013. Before undergoing breast surgery and the extraction of an ovarian cyst, with Gianni, my husband, I went to Castel Sant'Elia to pray at the tomb of Mother Frances Streitel, founder of the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother. The cyst was removed through the surgical technique of laparoscopy, everything seemed to have gone well. When I returned home from the hospital, after a few days, I began to feel excruciating pain and discomfort; I fainted three times. I was admitted again to the hospital in Avellino, but under shock, I underwent urgent surgery for over 4 hours. The laparoscopy used in the previous surgery had cut the artery. The situation was very serious because the internal bleeding was extensive. I know that my family, the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother and other people prayed intensely and confidently for the grace through Mother Frances' intercession. The unceasing and confident prayer was answered. A very great grace for coming back to life to my family.
