Little is known about Elisabeth Heck. When Sr. M. Scholastica Demer and Sr. M. Joachima Hornung went to America in 1888 for requesting funds, they met her in Philadelphia through Ferdinand Hörling, the brother of Sr. M. Sebastiana Hörling and a member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. She gave hospitality to the sisters and for a fortnight helped them with their fund raising in her German parish.
