WILHELMSBURG, AUSTRIA

Home nursing care

APPROFONDIMENTI02.jpg

In 1910 the sisters, now known as diligent servants of the ill, were invited by the people of Wilhelmsburg to care for their sick. Their presence from the early years was marked by self-sacrifice and a spirit of adaptation. Suffice it to say that only in 1916 did they have a house in which to live with dignity. Besides caring for the sick at home, they also soon opened a sewing school and devoted themselves to parish service until 1960.
