In the spring of 1893, Mother Frances accepted the full management of the "Mathildenheim House" located in St. Stephan's, near Vienna. The Mathildenheim was a nursing home for sick women, particularly teachers in ill health, which was opened from May to September. The sisters served there for two years with love and self-sacrifice.
