On May 12, 1994, the sisters of Brazil were invited by the parish priest of the Santa Rita da Cascia parish to manage an orphanage, the "Casa da Providência". Initially, living in Salto, the sisters traveled daily to Indaiatuba, but later two of them moved to the orphanage, in a new facility prepared for the youngsters and sisters. This service ended in 2006.
