St. Rose High School
On December 15, 1962, Mother Olivia Benz, General Superior, announced that a new mission would open in Gouyave, Grenada, West Indies. On September 12, 1963, some sisters were transferred from Barbados to Grenada to begin the new mission. St. Rose Secondary School eventually opened on September 11, 1966. On September 15th, the School welcomed the first sixty students and four teachers, led by the principal Sr. Seraphica Negel and later Sr. Raphael Narcisi. Already in 1969, the students exceeded one hundred boys and girls and competed successfully in sports competitions.
