GEROLFING, GERMANY

Educational-welfare activity

APPROFONDIMENTI02.jpg

On December 3, 1945, the St. Joseph Nursing Home opened in Gerolfing. A truly extraordinary and intense work! In fact, while caring for the sick at St. Joseph's, the sisters also provided nursing care at home, care for the elderly and offered sewing lessons. In 1949, they took advantage of the need to teach home economics in primary schools and in 1950 they also opened a nursery school.
