MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN
Mother of Perpetual Help School
In September 1942, under the leadership of Fr. Lawrence Kasper, Mother of Perpetual Help School for 152 children was opened in Milwaukee: a further pastoral commitment for the sisters who had already been engaged in teaching since 1935. Unfortunately, in the years 1971-72, due to new state regulations, the school premises were not up to code and the number of students diminished. It was then decided to remove the sisters, who received recognition for the effectiveness of their religious teaching and their teaching skills.
