St. Rose School
In 1921, the teaching ministry, which had already involved the sisters in several rural locations near Wichita, Kansas, was extended to St. Rose School in Cheney, an area inhabited by German families. Three Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother, residing in the parish house, taught at and managed the school, which was rebuilt and inaugurated at the end of the summer of 1921.
