On September 12, 1992, the mortal remains of the Servant of God Mother Frances Streitel, which had been kept since August 23, 1990, in the Parish of Castel Sant'Elia during the renovation of the Sisters' House, returned to the Chapel of the Convent. On this occasion the bishop consecrated the altar and blessed the sisters’ new chapel with the mortal remains of Mother Frances. The solemn celebration, presided by His Excellency Msgr. Divo Zadi, Bishop of Nepi and Civita Castellana was also attended by civil, military and religious authorities with the entire population of Castel Sant'Elia and many Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother from the various houses in Italy. Mother Frances' great-grandnephew, Oskar Streitel, his wife Gabriel and daughter Ulrike also attended.
