A solemn liturgical celebration was held in the Parish of Castel Sant'Elia in memory of the 75th anniversary of the death of Mother Frances Streitel. The Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother, the novices from Assisi and many young people from the village energized the feast with songs and religious representations. The women of Castel Sant'Elia prepared and served lunch to the sisters and guests. In the afternoon, in an atmosphere of prayer, Fr. Giovanni Marini OFM offered the participants a reflection on the charism of the Congregation, with particular reference to the future prospects of the mission developed by the vocational growth of the Congregation.
